Fall is easy to forget about your gutters. Life gets busy, the leaves come down, and suddenly it's winter. But those leaves don't disappear on their own - they just sit there, packed in, breaking down, and blocking the flow of water away from your home.

That's exactly what we were dealing with on this job. Gutters packed full of decomposed leaf debris and grime that had been sitting since before the first frost. Left alone, that kind of buildup traps moisture against your fascia, backs up into your soffits, and can push water where it absolutely should not go.

We cleared it all out completely. What you're left with is a gutter channel that can actually do its job - move water away from the roofline and foundation without restriction. It sounds simple. It kind of is. But a lot of homeowners don't get it done until there's already a problem.

We're officially open for the 2026 cleaning season here at Grime Busters Vermont, and this was our first gutter job of the year. If your gutters didn't get cleaned last fall, now is a good time to get ahead of the spring rain before it causes issues you didn't plan for.

We handle gutter cleaning all across Vermont. The work is straightforward, the results are clear, and your home is better protected for it. Simple as that.
